I stumbled upon this place entirely by chance. Initially, I had scheduled an appointment at a different location. When I arrived, I realized I was in the wrong building, and to make matters worse, my phone had run out of battery. Fortunately, the receptionist was incredibly helpful and looked up the correct place for me. However, I quickly realized there was no way I could make it to my original appointment on time.
Since I was already at the office, I inquired if there were any available slots for me. To my relief, they were able to accommodate me right away. I was a bit anxious about my current situation, as I rely on income support, and I was concerned about what would be covered and any potential complications. However, they took care of everything for me. Ultimately, I decided to go with instant dentures, which thankfully were covered by my plan.
From my initial visit to the actual procedure (at Twilight Dental), the entire process took less than a month. I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly, and their welcoming atmosphere made me feel at ease from the moment I walked through the door.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone here; thanks to this place, I can smile confidently once again.

Bonnie Doom Denture Clinic came highly recommended from a family member, and this being my first time getting partials I was not sure what to expect. From first time walking in, Jessie with here great personality made me feel very comfortable. Meeting Craig was a very positive experience as he stepped through the entire process and expectations. Since acquiring my partials I have been back a couple of times with a warm welcome from Jessie and Craig. Along with making me feel welcome the quality of the work from my visits was outstanding. I have been to Bonnie Doon Denture Clinic twice now. I chose them as I wanted a denturist clinic that was located close to me that was easy to get to using city transit for one; and two, I chose them based on their positive ratings.
From firsthand experience, I can confidently recommend them to anyone who is needing partials like myself, or dentures. From the moment you walk into the clinic, you are warmly greeted by their front desk girl Jessica and you are made to feel like you are a welcomed client. Simply fill out a medical form with your personal information and provide them with your insurance provider details. That's it!
I also appreciate that they provide a water cooler in the waiting room, and it's a homey feeling space complete with nice paintings in there and on the walls of the clinic. Outside the clinic in this little seating area on the same floor are two comfortable leather chairs and a round table, if you arrive early and just wanna hang for a few minutes. There are public washrooms in the hallway as well.
I saw Dr. Jonathan Shapka, and he has this very modern dental type device that measures your teeth all the way around, to ensure that your partials will fit securely and comfortably. He too is kind and friendly and will make you feel at ease. And I'm happy to say that my two partials DO fit me very well and are comfortable to wear. I had to have both an upper and lower extraction performed earlier this past summer at my dentist clinic downtown, and I wasn't happy to have these two gaps in my teeth, even if you can't really see them. It just helps to have that extra boost of confidence in your smile.
Then just yesterday I had an appointment to have my two partials fitted and Dr Shapka showed me how to put them in myself using a mirror, and sent me home with a 'kit' or a bag with instructions, containers to put them in, packets of denture cleaner, a brush to clean the partials, and even a 'tropical smoothie' lip balm! : )
Consider contacting Bonnie Doon Denture Clinic if you live on the south side of the city and are in need of partials or dentures. They are located in Bonnie Doon Mall. The #4 Capilano bus takes you there, get off at the Petro Canada station, then it's best to walk down to the malls south entrance and then just a short walk going north until you reach the Bonnie Doon Bowling Lane sign. There is both an elevator and a set of stairs that will take you up to the 2nd floor just to the left of the bowling lanes sign. The clinic's door is on the right, so you see it immediately.
